Guess it comes down to money. If money matters, keep what you have. If money doesnt matter, buy whatever you want. Nothing wrong with either plan so you cant lose.

Keep what you've got. I've got a 2014 that will keep up with any z06 out there. It's not about the latest an the greatest. It's about what makes you happy.

What I see is you paying 20 grand to store your car for 2-3 years so someone else can buy it at a great deal used Now if there is something wrong with your car or you just dont like it then thats a different story. If you are worried about warranty running out buy an extended warranty for a couple grand.

A 'good' deal is what you are happy with and how much your time is worth to you. Good luck.
Well said, which was exactly what I was thinking when I read the OP.

Get the latest and see how many failures come with that. I have had none and I'm pushing over 600 horses to the wheels. Getting ready to add alky and cam. I'll take my chances..

Interesting, and I have the same perception more and more these days. It's the same w/ my last car, a Jaguar F-Type. The first year (2014) was relatively bullet-proof, but the 16-17 owners are reporting more and more problems.

The dated popular wisdom about avoiding first-year models doesn't seem to hold much water these days. I'm also extremely happy w/ my zero-defect 2014.

Well many of you were right. Dealer called me and offered an amazing deal. 20 % off msrp and 53k for my trade 2014 3lt 7m. After much thought I decided to pass as I want a GS and will wait until next year. When it comes to a toy of that price I want what I really want.

Not bad really but if you want a GS then why not get what you want. They obviously want to move that car, might be a good deal for someone else.

Agree. I've passed on this one. I'll be putting mine away for the season soon and will start my search next year.

Skippy - I think you made a great choice. I traded my '15 for a GS and even though I only have 500 miles on it thus far, I couldn't be happier. Now, the wait begins. The good news is my GS only took 5 weeks to arrive after I ordered it.
