Best parking garage spot ever
Meeting in Arlington VA and was dreading the parking garage at the hotel. But got lucky and found the best spot ever!
By the way, took two lane twisty roads the entire way. Roof removed, good music, and clear road. While it took and hour longer, the scenic route was much better than taking the crazy bumper car route, I-81. Hwy 211 over the mountains by Luray VA is always fun, especially on a weeknight when traffic was nonexistent.

Because I posted? I was so relieved I just had to share.
BTW, I travel a lot, and have seen many horrible parking ramp conditions. Typically small, and loaded with road-warrior beaters and rentals, and the source of all sorts of dings and scratches.

Bunch of grumps in here today! Congrats on the lucky space. I usually cruise around looking for spots like that when I'm absolutely stuck having to use a garage.
I hope your meeting went well, as your car seemed quite safe in that spot.

Great parking space you found. Like you, I try to avoid having to park my car in a tight parking space - why take the chance of having it damaged. The space you chose avoids that as much as possible.

Nice to see someone else worries about parking as much as I do . . . I know, it's just a car, but . . .

By the way, I'm in NOVA to advise how we spend your tax dollars.

RT 33 is another nice road to Cross over the mountain.... heck, you might even want to jump on Skyline Drive at RT 211 and take it south to RT 33 and get off there. The ride down the hill towards I 81 is nice.
Great little spot for lunch at the bottom of the hill on Rt 33 going west. Before you get to Rt 340..... Called Log Cabin Bar B Que Restaurant. We stopped there the very FIRST day they opened (long ago) on a motorcycle ride with some friends...... by dumb luck, and not realizing it, the same group of friends stopped there again on their 10th Anniv..... and that would have been about 10 years ago too.
