Who thinks their Coupe looks better with the Targa top on?
My C7 is a month old and has a body matching roof. I took it off today for the first time and took a ride. I think it looks better with the top on. I had a C5 and C6 Vert before. Anyone else agree ???

I agree that it looks better with the top on, but it's pretty damn nice to go topless on a nice day.

^^Yep.
We've had the car for a little over a month and took the top off for the first time a few days ago. Neither my wife or me has ever owned a convertible before and that last time I rode in one Ford was president. Needless to say the ability to go "topless" has jumped to the top of list of favorite things about our Stingray!

I know I'm in the very small minority here but I wish you could order them with a fixed roof!! I'll try it once to say I did it but will never come off again.

Yes... the car was designed to look it's best with the top on. Hence Coupe
Now on the flip side, the Vert was designed to look it's best with the canvas roof down. This rule is pretty consistent across the board (see BMWs/Benz/etc...)

IMHO it does look better with the top on.
I had a GS Vert once and I hated the wind noise, and it hissed a lot also. I never once took the top off of my '13 GS Coupe either. I would prefer a nice (smooth) fixed roof like a normal two door sport sedan (F-Type, Carrera, etc.,..).

I would say beautiful with top on but exotic with the top off. See very few running top off, however.

I think it looks better with the roof off... I have an AW Z with CF access, including a stinger, and the black interior flow well with the top off. Maybe other color combinations and body styles will have a different visual effect.
I certainly like the lines with the roof as well, and absolutely prefer the targa top over a solid roof... and vert. It's the best of both worlds and a must have feature IMO.

To me, the C7 is the first Vette coupe since 1978 to look good with the top off. I like the looks of it both ways. The '78-'13 models huge rounded rear windows (and I've owned a few) looked and felt like they were dragging a parachute around.
