Default 1 of 22 Black C7.R gets delivered and much more! 10-29 delivery post-Mike@Criswell

~Corvette driving...Corvette ownership and Corvette collectors...all have the Corvette in common but there is always one other factor that is cool, "Numbers". How many were built in certain color combo's, special editions, transmissions etc. The Corvette Black Book can help with the extrapolation to use what you know to guess what you don't know. But in the case of the Black '16 C7R Convt with Auto Trans I delivered yesterday...I know exactly how many were built, 22! I called my Detroit contact and received the complete breakdown of all 650 C7R's that were built for the model year 2016. Only 80 were Convt... only 36 in Black...and only 22 of those had Auto Trans.
I post delivery video's and pics on my CorvetteFurman Facebook page so check it out when you have time.

~Rich A from Severn, MD read my Forum ad for this '16 C7R Black Convt. and called me right away to get some sight unseen numbers on his 15 Laguna Blue Z06. We made the deal on the phone and yesterday Rich drove home his 1 of 22 Z06. I have crossed paths with Rich many times over the last 10 years as he owned a super rare 1963 Split Window Z06! Black with Red interior. Only 199 Z06's built in 1963!

~Mike F. from Littleton, Colorado placed his factory order with me for an Arctic White 2017 Grand Sport Convt with the two tone Red interior and Blue Top. I will venture to say the production numbers on this color combo will be very low. I wish I had seen it as he took delivery at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. This Corvette is fully optioned out and the Red White and Blue theme rocks.

~Jerry C. from Alpine, California Factory ordered a new 2017 Z06 in Torch Red to be drop shipped out West so he could take Courtesy delivery. The Black wheels with Red calipers really pop along with the visible carbon fiber hood insert and Carbon fiber dash board. Jerry also got my favorite option, J57 Ceramic brake rotors! Rounding out his 3LZ pkg is the 7spd manual trans.

~Ted G. from Catonsville, MD called me last week about getting a new Corvette. I invited him to either check out my web site or come view our inventory. He did both and got blown away at the selection. After walking the lot for a bit he landed on this Shark Gray with Kalahari '16 Stingray. Ted traded in his Silver 2009 and could not have been happier with his new Corvette.

~Had a guy stop by this week that worked fro me 20 years ago, He knew I was at Criswell so he came in and bought a new Black pkg Silverado from me.

~This past week Criswell Chevrolet received the Dealer of the Year award. So Friday was a banquet in the showroom.

~I get Corvette folks/Clubs dropping by all the time. This past week a regular Forum follower was able to drop by before heading to the airport back to Texas. Thanks Bryan M. for coming by and spending some time here, next time we will do Lunch. His wife said to bring one home so he picked one out, she even said that she would foot the bill. I told Bryan she's a keeper. He couldn't fit the GS in his suitcase though.

Nov 10th is Bryan's Grand son's 10th Birthday so I am sending him a special surprise in the mail since he is such a Corvette fan. Stay tuned and watch the mailbox Levi Current!!

~Throwback pics and everything Corvette.

Have a great day!

That Callaway Z06 convertible with the green and white exterior with green interior and huge chrome wheels is certainly head turning. What a hoot it would be running around in that thing watching the abject horror in the eyes of many vette enthusiasts. Some would love it, but most would probably go YEOW !!!!

Great pictures and stories! I love the pictures of the cars from the fifties and sixties. Who is the pretty lady in the white pants suit? Thanks for doing this for us every Sunday Mike. It is greatly appreciated!

Another week of great delivery stories and fun Corvette photos! Thanks, Mike!

Now, I went to the address in the advertisement for the 1955 for $3,500, but can't find anyone there than knows anything about it. I'm starting to wonder if it's a scam!
