2016 Z51 front splitter
Hello:
Is the front of my car complete as pictured or does it ship with a splitter similar to the one from Zip Corvette?
The car did not have any additional options re: spoilers etc.
Thanks.
Robert

Z51 does not come with any splitter available from the factory as an option, but the Z06 one you picture will fit without issue if you want to add it.

Yes, need to order ground effects, My Z06 had this option, Z51 does not, but you can put on the factory effects, just order thru dealer parts dept

Thank you.
The Zip site had the splitter listed as a Z51 splitter so I just wanted to be sure the dealer gave me everything I should be receiving.
Thanks.

Are the holes already there on the underside of the front bumper or do you have to drill to add the splitter?

There are some, but you will need to drill a few more for a more secure install.

Thank you.
On the zip site looks like they supply rivets. Did you use rivets or screws?
Thanks.

Yes it comes with metal rivets, but I used plastic rivets.

Do you happen to know the size of the plastic rivets and where did you buy them?
I am having splitter shipped elsewhere and I want to have the plastic rivets when I go to install.
Thanks.

I will check tonight when I get home, I bought a bag I think like 30 or more and used less than 10. If I can find them will let you know.

The rivets in the kit are aluminum which are almost as easy to drill out as plastic if you need to remove down the road. As you can probably guess I used the 10 aluminum rivets that came with the kit. Good luck & I believe you will enjoy the looks.

I work part time at a body shop and they painted it for me.

Their are i think 10 screws you remove and then attach the splitter. And then i drilled 6 holes and used 3/16 plastic push rivets. It makes it easy to remove.
