Default Question for convertible owner: rear fuse box access

Have any of you C7 convertible owners removed the carpet mat in the trunk to get to the fuse box? Pulls up easy on the right, but seems clipped down on the left near the storage well. Thought I would see if anyone has any tips before I start breaking anything . . . thanks

There are three clips around the storage well. Best way to separate the carpet from the well is is to shoot some silicon spray as best you can on the clips, and then use something to carefully pry the carpet clips away from the storage well. At least that is the way I would do it after breaking a clip off via the brute force method.

I've pulled it up to get to the battery and to install a bumper bib, and a little beyond. It's not hard, just be gentle and persistent. I never encountered any clips, and the carpet tucks back down quite securely.

Appreciate the reply Just one last question: Do you leave the cover (#6) in place or take it off first?
