I'm holding out a few more weeks to put mine away. I was going to put it away this weekend, but since there is no snow here in the Chicagoland area just yet, and temps are supposed to get into the fifties later in the week, I decided to wait.

Kind of an odd feeling to put it away for the winter. Thought we should have a hibernation thread--kind of a Northern "misery-loves-company thread."

Cleaned, detailed and a fresh coat of Kenotek (like this stuff!)

And wearing the Christmas gift from my understanding wife . . .

If I am going to look at it daily might as well have some fun. Actually, makes me think of a kid asleep wearing Superman pajamas.

Same cover here--love it!! I figure I've got maybe 30 more days of cruising in KS before she goes to bed for the winter. Love the Superman PJs analogy!!

I put mine in my storage garage just in case they salt Chicago streets because of the predicted rains. I covered it but did not put on the tender yet hoping the streets will remain salt free.

Available at many locations. Try Googling "Race Ramps Flatstoppers" or "Park Smart Tire Saver". Available at Home Depot, Walmart, Sears, AutoGeek.net, etc.

How is your trickecharger coming through the trunk and plugged in? Is your trunk not all the way closed? You can't close it on the wire obviously.

Put all season tires on my C7 and plan to drive whenever possible this winter. Will not take it out in extreme weather (lots of snow). However, we have many days here in Nebraska during the winter when the roads are clear and very drivable. It may sit for a couple of weeks but I will attempt to drive it as much as I can.

Race Ramps has a $25 cash back promo on 14" wide Flatstoppers until 31-Dec-2016. Reverse Logic is matching the rebate with an instant rebate at time of purchase. The "SAVE10" coupon code can also be used. Net price after double rebate and coupon code is $181.10.

Same here. One last top-down drive then the next day snow (and salt).
