I never pulled the floor, but that's a lot of stuff under the rear hatch.

Looks like data recording equipment maybe.

Be cool if the ZR-1 was the mule for the new C8 power plant. TTV8 would make some sense.

How many Corvette buyers are willing and able to this car? I hope it is not another high horsepower car with no soul and is a warmed over clone.

I like the new air intakes at the front, not a fan of the wing. The hood vent looks good. I think the red mirrors look tacky with the new paint scheme.

Default It's a race car!

It's a race car. It's called downforce. Tell the Corvette racing team to remove theirs - bet they would not like it's handling.

Because when you are doing 150 mph plus you would like some "downforce" on your butt......and I would LOVE one on MY ZR1

When racing, the function of that wing is needed. I understand the need on a racetrack. On the street, it just looks too

Buying a car like that and never tracking it is just a waste of money so yeah put the wing on it. She's gonna be a beast.

I posted this yesterday, but didn't know if it was OK to link directly to Autoblog...

Anyway that front grille has some huge holes.

Looked at all 18 pictures. Interesting to see Stingray style fenders on both cars not Z06 fenders. Could that be connected to the rumors that this will have a hot naturally aspirated motor not a 700hp blown one? The car with the lower wing looks pretty good. Still think ZR1 is the wrong name for this track car. Hope to see it at the NAIAS in 6 weeks!

I agree guys but how many of the people like us going to be doing what you are saying here with this car. I am talking full race car track car only here. Plus I think if you did get this car out on a track with cars that run to this degree. Unless you do a lot more work to this car your will be in last place.Robert

They will sell a few of these to the folks that have to have the biggest and baddest car available. As a street machine it is hideous IMHO. But this is America, so to each their own.

Now if Capt. Kirk would give GM the "cloaking device" for that wing- everyone would be happy-no one would see it and it would still work.

The red mirrors wouldn't look so tacky if the swirls were red on a yellow background.

Another right-wing, left-wing, polarizing issue.
