As always great pics! Women make up about 10 percent of corvette drivers. We are out there....I moderate a group on FB for women corvette owners.
I am jealous of your COTA run!
I was at Spring Mtn last weekend...it rained Sunday....so much fun, I gained a lot of knowledge from the wet track.

Congrats Mike on another wonderful week of making people's Holiday Dreams come true
For those of you who don't know or haven't dealt with him personally, I want to explain something about this guy.
Mike is the type of guy that even after the car is sold and you are long gone, whenever you have a question he answers back usually within hours and if it's longer than that there's an apology prefacing the answer. and he ALWAYS has them.
It's a pleasure to have him around to help with issues/concerns one might have or come across as a new NEW Corvette Owner. Having purchased so many new vehicles (majority being GM) I cannot STRESS enough that not having the tension of worrying "is my salesman still there???" does when it comes to dealing with Mike. He eases the concerns and that makes me feel easy about things that pop up with my Z06.. I can say the same for my friend who purchased a Z06 from Mike one week later.. the Best 3.5hr trip i've ever made lol
Thanks Mike..

Mike is a professional. It is rare to find a car salesperson that sticks with his/her job for more than a few years. Mike has been selling Corvettes for almost 40 years. This is incredible. BTW, Mike, I am thinking about nominating you for the Guiness Book. Surely you must have sold more Corvettes in your career than anyone else in the world.

Great photos, both old and new. I always enjoy these posts. If that 1963 photo of ROBERT Chevrolet is the one in Hicksville, LI NY, that is Bobby Brown Jr. son of the late owner & founder who was a successful road racer (Corvettes & Lolas) and I believe still competes in vintage SCCA racing today. Saw him pull into the dealership showroom floor on a Saturday with two cheerleaders in his new '62. I've been into Corvettes ever since!

I googled these old Chev dealers and one changed ownership, the others appear to be no longer around. Paramount Chev for example, "shut its doors last week (Sep 29, 1991) after doing business for more than 50 years. The closure left about 90 people without jobs and the city with about $200,000 annual revenue because of the recession."
Again, dated Sep 1991. I remember Rosenthal Chevrolet in Arlington Va. They're gone too.
Current reports are GM is doing very well.
