Default More woman buyers lately/Delivery pics, stories and throwback pics 12/3-Mike@Criswell

~The Holiday Season has arrived and the roads (and internet) are full of shoppers getting ready so drive safe out there... I have 6 off site deliveries this week and two were to women buyers and last week I had two women buyers as well. Glad to see the Corvette being recognized as America's #1 Sports Car for everyone. 80% of my buyers are from out of State and there are several ways I can make that happen and all of them are seamless. Here is a list of off site deliveries this week, I am waiting on pictures to share. Jamie S. from Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Steve S. from Parkland, Florida, James Y. from Santa Rosa, California, Wayne H. from El Cerrito, California, Patricia O. from New Albany, Ohio and Robert S. from Melbourne, Florida.

~Stan K. from Bondsville, Mass. had been checking the Nation for just the right Corvette when he came across my CorvetteFurman.com Corvette dedicated web site. Stan picked out a new 2016 Shark Gray Stingray Z51 Convt with Gray top and Gray interior, Mag ride, Auto Trans,2LT pkg and Chrome wheels. This is Stan's 5th Corvette!

~Rachel and Willie J. from Denham Springs, Louisiana were kind enough to write a great review of their Corvette buying experience on my GM survey feedback. I have coordinated 100's of Corvette Museum deliveries and the red carpet gets put out for everyone. The Museum staff does a tremendous job.

"Mike Furman is a first class guy. Handled all of my needs and questions. We did a museum delivery of our Corvette. He was very knowledgeable about this process and it was a great experience.

Everyone that I came in contact with at the dealership was completely nice and easy to deal with. Mike Furman was my sales contact. He was very professional and handled all of my questions and concerns accordingly. We did the museum delivery on our car so all of my interactions were either over the phone or by e-mail. This was a very smooth and easy transaction.... "
Willie and Rachel J. Denham Springs, Louisiana

~Mike P. from Oklahoma has bought a few Corvettes from me over the years and he is about to pull the trigger on another 2017 Z06 and have it specially prepared by Callaway. But below are two pics he sent me of his 2015 Z06 racing as he does best. Read what Mike says...

"Here is me driving at COTA Sep 2016
This car the same weekend did 3 back to back 2:17 laps, one of those is in the video below sync’d with the McLaren P1 lap doing a 2:17
Notice the MPH in the straightaways, the P1 hits much higher MPH, but we get them in the turns. Both the P1 and my car are 2015 year models
HP and tuning on the Z06 is stock.

~Have a great week everyone! Check out my Corvette Furman page on Facebook. Drive safe!

Really am liking those old dealership pics. Hard to imagine some of those cars in dealership-new condition. Thanks!

Thanks for another great week Mike.

Do you remember reading / hearing about a salesperson who worked for Merollis Chevrolet by the name of Joe Girard? He was he "Mike Furman" of regular Chevrolet sales dating back to the 70's.

You have likely discussed it in the past, (and if so, I missed it) how did you get connected with Adams Polishes?

Joe G was a legend for sure!!

I was introduced to Adam a few years back at Corvettes at Carlisle and we formulated a plan and put it in place within minutes. The rest is history! I don't believe he realized at first just how many Corvettes I deliver per year, but he is thrilled to have me as a Spokesperson for Adam's Polishes.

Another great week of photos and happy and some not so happy people. Great to see All Flash's Z06 shots from their Canadian East Coast Adventure. What do you suppose happened to that poor Corvette that is only partially supported by the lift? Lift broke or some other event? Hurts just to look at the pictures. That blue mid 60's car looks like somebody might have been badly hurt in that one. Holes in the windshield are never a good thing.

Some great racing shots. Another entertaining week of new and old. Thank you.

Wow... I must say it is quite the honor, not only going through this post and finding that Mike found our shots credible enough to post, but also to see comments of others appreciating them as well. Mike your making that Crabfest ride this year all the more a probability and thanks much. We have done a few shoots in the last couple of weeks...maybe I will do up a post later today.

That Blue Corvette off the lift was caused by an Earthquake down under.

Thanks for the great pictures -loved all of them except that red 80 or so vette with the 3 rear lites and the custom roof-horrible horrible to do that to an innocent corvette-just joking-loved all of the pictures.

Another good post, Mike. It's always fun to see new owners take delivery of their cars and to read their stories. Plus the flashback photos are great.

Awesome pictures...

As a woman Corvette owner (2) I'll take the Corvette and you can keep the diamonds.

My first Corvette ride was in a 1968 red convertible and I fell in love. (meant to say that was in 1968..lol)

I used to have white go go boots!

I saw that episode of Jay Leno's garage with Kendall Jenner and her gorgeous classic "56.

I'll own a C7 vert as soon as I can emotionally turn loose of my C5.

I bet you looked like Nancy Sinatra in that red 68 Corvette! Good for you and all the Corvettes that you have owned!! That C5 is a great Vette! Enjoy it to the fullest!!

I notice that some of the C7 cars have the chrome "retainer" bar across the front grille and others don't. Honestly, the car looks better without it.

Is having it removed (or blacked out) part of the GS or Z06 package?
