Keeping the wife happy, smart guy. My wify thinks I need to hang on to my 14' Z51 and not move up to a GS. No problem, just going to do a 416 stroker with Lingenfelter and honor her wishes

We loved our '15. Z51 with 2LT, etc. My wife wasn't really a fan at first, but after about 500 miles on our first long road trip she was converted. But she was never crazy about the color - DSOM. I loved that color, and she liked it when in the sun, but it just never did it for her. After a long (3.5k mile) road trip this fall, she said 'why don't you get a new one with front cameras, Android Auto (we like that in two of our other cars) and stuff, and I'll help you with the color'. I will always try to please my wife so I went right to work on it.
MacMulkin has what we wanted, in one of the two colors we were considering (CRY and AB). Our local dealer had a nice CRY GS, but just couldn't come close to MacMulkin's pricing. MacMulkin was great to deal with for sure! We got it done over the phone, and arranged for Intercity Lines to deliver it (they also did a great job!).
Car is 3LT, carbon dash, heritage package, and other stuff. A8 because that is what we both like. If we want to drive a stick, we take our chromie out. The good news: it arrived today. The bad news: it was 15 degrees, it's snowing now - actually started while I was taking pics, and we won't be able to use the car for a few months. But that's okay - time to do a few things during the winter and will be ready to go in March.
The C7s are amazing. All of them. Don't care what configuration, model, options, or whatever - these are GREAT cars!! And I appreciate the help/answers I get on the forum as needed - the CF forum is very helpful.

Hopper12. You are an inspiration to us all, and KEEP THAT WIFE . Even if she made you get the GS.

And to let you know that lengths I'll go to in order to please my wife, here's the rest of the story in addition to getting the new GS.......
We were driving thru a small town in South Central Utah in June - 2 lane road, 60 mph limit. Passed a nice C3 roadster in front of a house with a for sale sign on it. Me: "that looked nice". Her: "turn around a go look at it'. Wanting to keep her happy, I turned around. Bought it and picked it up 2 weeks later. Keeping her happy.
Got it home two weeks later. Her: 'what car is going to sit outside?' Me: 'Terrain (son's car)'. Her: 'would be nice to have them all in during the winter. Will another lift fit on the other side of the garage?' Me: 'yes'. Her: 'why don't you get another one so all the cars we use can stay in the garage'. Me, making sure I please her: 'Ok'.
I am one lucky boy!! We're all very blessed.
