And to let you know that lengths I'll go to in order to please my wife, here's the rest of the story in addition to getting the new GS.......

We were driving thru a small town in South Central Utah in June - 2 lane road, 60 mph limit. Passed a nice C3 roadster in front of a house with a for sale sign on it. Me: "that looked nice". Her: "turn around a go look at it'. Wanting to keep her happy, I turned around. Bought it and picked it up 2 weeks later. Keeping her happy.

Got it home two weeks later. Her: 'what car is going to sit outside?' Me: 'Terrain (son's car)'. Her: 'would be nice to have them all in during the winter. Will another lift fit on the other side of the garage?' Me: 'yes'. Her: 'why don't you get another one so all the cars we use can stay in the garage'. Me, making sure I please her: 'Ok'.

I am one lucky boy!! We're all very blessed.
I understand completely my friend. I tell people if it wasn't for my wife I would probably be living under a bridge.

When I was looking at my C7 my dearest said, "Well, you can't take it with you, so spend some of it." Good woman.

OP. congrats on the ONLY C7 I would have purchased had I not grabbed my Z06.

I have the poster of that car trimmed down and above my computer at my desk. I love that scheme. absolutely LOVE IT.

best of luck with it!
