looking at the Chevrolet build site is the only color change on a 1lt to just the seats?....no door panels , no center rest?...

Yes, the only interior color change is to the seats on a 1LT.

If you order a 1LT with grey seats your passenger compartment carpet will be light grey and your carpet in the hatch area will be black. Kinda looks custom.

Yes that's right... and even if you change the seats to say, adrenaline red, all the stitching on the still black door panels, dash, steering wheel, etc. is light gray instead of red to match the seats. Basically they just plop a pair of colored seats into a black interior on a 1LT. If I was going with any other color interior than black I'd opt for the 2LT or 3LT.

With that said, if you want basic black interior, it's hard to distinguish a 1LT black interior from the 3LT that costs several thousands more.

thanks i have black seats and was wondering what red seats would look like on admiral blue exterior...thinking of a comp seat conversion which on a 1LT you can't get colors other then black..red might look neat

There's pics of Laguna Blue with red seats. it's a $500 override when ordered that way, but people have done it. Honestly, I think it's pretty cool.

Here's a pic of Laguna Blue with a red interior. (3LT?) Admiral blue is a little different shade, but the vibe would be the same. A little more understated than the pic if you're just doing seats. If you wanna go crazy, you can buy the other red parts that come with the up level trims though...

Like DaffyDrunk stated If you want to add more red interior pieces you can order the following: Trim Pad (over glove box) Upper Molding and Finish Panel (surrounding the dash) Side panel and Center Console Door. I ordered mine from several of the GM Wholesale Parts companies on the internet. Some are sponsors of the forum. Check all prices including shipping.

BTW, several vendors here have interior parts in AR for sale, Truck Monkey, CULTRAG, etc. I've bought the side panel, console lid, and dash panel in AR to add a bit more color to my 1LT.

anyone know if you do the comp seat conversion do you get both top and bottom seat covers ...seats are currently black ...i thought the conversion only changed the top part of the seat?

The conversion kits only come with the parts for the top half. The bottom cushion is basically the same, except the Comp seats use a firmer foam.
