Default I miss my turn signals

I miss my turn signal indicators in the HUD display on the C7. In my C5 they are in the HUD. With the signals in the HUD I can see when they have not canceled after a turn or lane change. On the C7 they are near the top of the IP display where I cannot easily see them.
As someone who is officially in the "Old Fart Club" driving down the road with my turn signal flashing seems acceptable but drives me nuts.
Am I missing something in the settings to get these to display?
Sorry if I did I am still learning.

Nope, turn signal presentation is not available on the HUD. However the car will alert you if the turn signals have not been canceled.

One thing about the C-7, you can read the HUD with polarized sun glasses on, not so much on a C-5. I don't know about the C-6.

I completely agree, they should be displayed in the HUD, if for gen 5 & 6 they were, this is a step backwards that should be eaily corrected by a software update, C'mon GM really !

Might have to turn the brightness up just a bit to see it with polarized glasses. I had to do that to see it clearly. Will have to back it back down when they are removed tho.

Sound of flasher and if On too long the warning sound-good enough for me.

HUD has more than my C6 and very useful. The delay in achieved "g" force reading, dots when you near redline, gear and color change when in rev match. Rather have those and let sound handle the directional signals and sound warning if left on too long.

I also miss the turn signals being in the HUD. Where they are located on the dash of my C7, they are blocked by the steering wheel..

One of the answers in "Ask Tadge" by Corvette Engineers touched on this topic. They wanted to add the turn signal indicators to the HUD, but GM Corporate said no.

I have a 2017 XT5 Cadillac with HUD. I would like turn signal indicators in that HUD, but they are not there. This is apparently a GM standard policy for some reason. Could it be some lawyer said it is a distraction and they do not want the liability?

I've tried that already. Not that I can't see it at all but in general I can't read it very well with the sunglasses on.

I don't see any difference in readability between the C5, C6 or C7 HUDs when it comes to polarized sun glasses. They all fade away to just about nothing. I stopped wearing my polarized glasses so I could read the display Vs guess.

And that's the point - why not? It used to be there. There hasn't been a sudden change in the polarity of the universe that suddenly made this a safety hazard and one could argue trying to see the turn signals that are pretty much obscured by the steering wheel is much more a potential safety issue than having them in the HUD.

No methinks there's some sort of additional hardware needed to send the signal to the HUD and they decided to save $$$ or weight (though I wouldn't think it would be that heavy).

In addition to turn signal the high beam indicator is also missing. I agree this is a step to the rear. Just bought a new Escalade with heads up--same situation as my C7.
