Default What did you do to your C7 today?

I am starting off a thread for people to post what they are doing with their C7 : Mods, Maintenance, Joy-Rides. This has been a popular thread on some of the other car forums I frequent.

I will start it off, for my 2017 GS 1LT M7 :
- Installed CAGs eliminator
- Installed Blockit Mats
- Checked and topped-off the rear diff gear oil (4 ounces underfilled)
- Gave it its first wash

I looked at it, sitting dirty and cold in my unheated garage, and wished it wasn't 38f outside...if it gets up to 42 we'll go for a ride.

Your rear dif oil was under filled? I would have never thought about checking that. I guess I now have to.

Hey, we should setup a Spring countdown timer and link to it in a thread so that we can refer to it each day!! (maybe in the OT section?)

That is a thought , but then I would check it every day and it would seem even longer. Might be best to check with Siri for a update every once in a while.

I drove it in a heavy snow squall, while the sun was shining, and the roads were clear. Non-sequitar, no, that actually happened in DC this morning, with the temps about 40ºF. Upper level temps were much colder, obviously.

Siri doesn't like me it seems. I asked her just now "How many more days until Spring?" And she replied "Sorry, I can't help you with that" !! Lol. Maybe Cortana or the Android one is smarter haha

That's because you're supposed to ask Siri how many days until March 20, or ask her how many days until the vernal equinox . . . 80 days. She's very smart, and "spring" has so many different meanings.

That's exactly what I did. 250 miles round trip. Snowing about half those miles. Weird, but beautifully fun.

I got the air box and some parts in the front of the car pulled off, plus put the stock tune back in the car.

Should have my new blower set up also all of the front of the car apart and have it by week after next. Just doing a little every night until then, Then be putting it on and back together.

2014 Z51 3LZ auto car I have put LT headers, 3 inch mid pipe, Borla ATKA NPP on the car, catch can, Black chrome rims with R888 tires on it now also. Ported T.B. & intake, a ton of LG motorsports coolant parts. Dewitts Rad in with LMR rad housing with a 160.

A ton of C.F under the hood and inside and outside of the car. After this blower I will be calling it a day with this car..... Robert

Wed we drove it to Kerbeck to have the stripes installed and the 500 mile oil change. We got home in the dark and the car was too dirty to cover for the Winter so today we pulled the car out to wash it and within a few minutes it started to snow.

We continued to wash it and the snow stopped long enoough to dry it and pull it back into the garage.I hope to spot clean it tomorrow then put the cover on until Spring.

I drove it. We had a cold front. The high was around 65-70.
