First impressions from a quick drive, this truly transforms the car. I can even drive in track mode on semi smooth roads with any harshness or upsetting the suspension. Others have done a much better job describing the changes then I could do, I'll just say the V2 controller is awesome so far.

It's great to see we're batting 1000 here. Everyone seems to be happy, and I'm not surprised, because it's not just a subtle difference, it's huge difference.

Going to have to give credit to all the independent reviewers of this product. This is not something I would have know about or bought without such positive independent reviews (other then Foosh, you have to be on the payroll )

Anyway I have some more time with the car this afternoon, just really impressed. The only negative I see is the car is seriously begging me to get in big trouble. Can't wait for a nice weekend cruise somewhere with some turns. Great job DSC

Hey Mike,

Can the pdts files be loaded in a text editor or excel to fill tables with custom values or copy/paste between files without connecting the dsc unit?

Alex

The irony of folks thinking I'm somehow "on the payroll" is that I am one of the biggest skeptics on the planet. That's especially true when it comes to car mods. I'm also trained as a scientist, which personifies skepticism without proof.

So, when someone shows up touting a device costing a little over $1K that is claimed to totally transform a car, my BS detector immediately goes off. In fact, I questioned the OP because I was totally skeptical in this case.

The very reason I'm so enthusiastic is that I'm so shocked at how good this upgrade is. I even posted my invoice above to show I paid the same price everyone else did.

You're damned right I'm enthusiastic. I can't believe it every time I drive my C7.

Rennlist has a settings and file sharing thread. I think we need to start something. It would be nice to share street and track profiles.

Anyone successfully mange to attach a usb cable AFTER installing the controller? Z51 so a little less room to work with then a Z or GS. I just cant get my big hands in there to attach the cord. Just want to do the Zero travel, nothing exotic here. Really don't want to pull that puppy out.

If you feed the cable in through the grommet just to the left of the clutch pedal you can fish it out and push it in although it may be faster to just pull dsc and plug it in

Why do you think GM left so much performance on the table?

Sounds like a cool mod

Thanks for sharing

Its not that they did its just that they use a tier one vender they have but so much input. As well our approach is entirely different. the oe view the chassis from the tire to the chassis. I look at it from the steering wheel down. It forces you to have solutions. Engineering at the race track gives you a broader stroke of the brush thats all. At the end of the day its not right or wrong just what works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Impressive. I also just watched Matt Farrah's review on the track of the dsc controller on the track. Congratulations on an amazing modification that translates into real world performance...

Keeping the tires in better contact with the road offers tremendous value.

So it's sunny and 85 here today So I figured what an awesome day to take the car to Mexico, a place where doing anything stupid will only kill me or a cow. Understand I have owed this car for a little over 2 years and about 20k of mostly fun driving, I know this car very well. Several observations about it's new super powers, putting down speed that will get you arrested should NOT be this easy and comfortable. It's just amazing how more planted yet smooth the car is at speeds that might even get you arrested in Mexico. Track mode is very livable on this car on roads that are not track smooth and plush touring, well I never really will be in that mode but it is plush. It's pretty nice to be able to buy something for your 2 year old car, install it in an hour ( I can do it in about 15 minutes now) and soddenly feel totally excited about your car again, not that I ever lost the love but yeah this thing rocks.

I do think DSC's software while easy to use the instructions should be updated for newbies like me but the guys there are very helpful, they really want you to be happy.

Scale of 1 to 10 on worth the money, well I guess it depends on how much you have available for mods but this is a 10 for me.

I noticed on their site they doing a controller for the Focus RS, which so far seems plagued with bad press over it's road manners. Be interesting to hear how that works out.
