Looks like I will be purchasing an extended warranty because I want to keep my car for more than 5 years.

I wonder how long it will be before your latest incarnation as "CorvettePride" will be banned...
You are nothing more than a spoiled cry baby. Can't wait to see you at the bash this year. And Yes I have over 40 screen names on this Forum so please ban me again I will be back in 5 mins.

That is my concern. They have replaced TCs with "updated" versions and then we discover that there must be an update to the update to the update and it has been hush hush. So that leads me to believe that the updated versions still are not an official fix. Then as someone mentioned, what's different about the ones that continue to perform fine? Are there multiple TC suppliers with one supplier not making TCs to GM's spec? Or is there variation in the raw materials being used by the TC manufacturer? Or does one shift at the manufacturer perform better work than another shift(s)? Lots of questions with minimal data being shared with us...

Same with me....when my TC was replaced Feb 2016 the part removed for core return was 24279495 and replaced with 24279495.

My replacement transmission April 2016 probably has TC part# 24279495 in it which is probably why my driveline is not working well again. Mine will be going back in for maintenance again shortly, third time for me.

I can't test mine right now due to weather (0F and snow), but I know there were times it fluctuated.
A flash can certainly adjust the parameters of the ECM/TCM to make the V4 mode engage more or less aggressively if they want. I know this from experimenting on my old Pontiac G8 GT that had AFM and recall some guys tuning their AFM parameters to have it engage more frequently.

"CAN'T WAIT O SEE YOU AT THE BASH THIS YEAR." Is this some sort of veiled threat or attempt at intimidation to a respected forum member?

You really need to get a life.

That's a cute game for a 9-year old. Fortunately, you're easy to spot and not very smart about it because all these new members with 1-2 posts keep showing up saying the same thing.

I think this is the same guy that was going to call Tadge out last year with a posse of lawyers...

I might not be handling it so well if mine had to go in for the 3rd time. I would insist on making sure it is going to be replaced with 24280631. Is there a dealership with a more reputable service dept in your area? Even if I had to drive a couple of hours, it would be worth it if I knew it would be done right.

Really, dude? You're going to call one of the most respected members of the board a spoiled cry baby? Were you looking in the mirror when you said that?

Not sure why you have such an agenda by continuing the bashing of the car. You don't like C7's with A8 transmissions. Got it. Rather than making 40 different accounts, move on. There are so many other options available and life is too short. Get a life.

Yes this respected member of this Forum friended me on Face Book so he could spy on me . After my mother was featured here the oldest 2017 G/S owners. I however reversed the favor on FB and did a little research into him and his insurance business.
After your transmission fails again and it will let's see the song your singing then.

I have better things to do with my time than to "spy" on you. It's funny too because you sent me the Facebook friend request after I helped you with some information about your 2017 Grand Sport.

What the hell is wrong with this guy?

And his mother was featured here......so I guess it's Mommy's car that he's pissed off about. Well, I suppose if you still live in Mommy's basement, listening to her bitch about that horrible car would drive you nuts.

Yes ,there is an excellent dealer in our area who has been really good dealing with these driveline issues and the many other issues and failures I have had with the car. I have just had a heap of bad luck and the dealership just keeps getting parts that don't solve the problem.

Maybe his agenda is to use up all the account names so new people can't join the forum.

Initially he was just a minor irritation and very quickly most forum members realized he had nothing to offer, no expertise and presented nothing of interest.

By his own hand and keyboard he has slipped another notch and just become irrelevant.........most of us don't even bother to read his posts any more.
