I see Classic Chevy in Grapevine was #6. I've bought 3 from them over the years. Damn good service tech's imho.

Thanks for the link.
I was comparing the 2016 top 50 list to the 2015 top 100 list and the 2014 top 50 list.
In 2014 my local dealer was #32 with 105 sold. In 2015 they had dropped to #40 at 87 sold. In 2016, they are not even on the top 50 list, meaning that they sold fewer than 67 Corvettes in 2016. That is a 36%+ drop in sales in two years for my local dealer.

Kerbeck doesn't even participate on the dealer inventory section of this site, they must have other venues where they get online attention for out of state sales given their huge numbers.

Rick Hendrick is a corporation, not a dealership. They're all under different local management.
The list is comprised of single locations. Criswell is a large corporate operation as well, and they have dealerships for virtually every manufacturer in many different locations, but it's the Gaithersburg, MD dealership only, which is the #4 largest Corvette dealer in terms of sales.

For me dealer #3 is local (Les Stanford) but I bought from dealer #8 (COUGHLIN). #8 wanted my business and #3 did not seem to care much when I stopped in last July. Bought from Couglin sight unseen at the end of 2016. Great deal and worked out perfect.

Glad to see that Lindsay Chevrolet in Woodbridge, VA didn't make the list... Based on my experience they might top the list for 50 Worst. Don't recommend for a whole host of reasons. Should have bought for Mike at Criswell to keep it relatively local...

I saw that also. And, that's with an outrageous $699 doc fee at his Charlotte location. I live 18 miles from his Charlotte store, but when I saw that doc fee I just moved on.
And congratulations again to Mike Furman, and Rick Conti. Super sales people.

Wes was a very knowledgeable salesperson and Reliable's sales were mainly to non locals. Wes was responsible for a lot of Reliable's sales(but also responsible for some to purchase elsewhere).
But, over the past three years, Wes was there 2.5 years. Their sales dropped from being #32 in 2014(when Wes was there 100% of the year) to #40 in 2015(when Wes was There 100% of the year), down to below #50 in 2016(when Wes was there 50% of the year). Reliable's sales would have most likely dropped even if Wes had been there during the past 6 months..
The fact is that Reliable's drop in sales is because sales of Corvettes nationwide have dropped, not that Wes left Reliable.
Look at the nationwide sales of the "players" in 2016.
Dave is still at Kerbeck and their sales have dropped.
Tommy Jr is still at MacMulkin and their sales have dropped.
Rick is still at Coughlin and their sales have dropped.
Mike is still at Criswell and their sales have dropped.
Etc, Etc, Etc.
All that excess Corvette production meant that more smaller dealers had more allocations so they also had more Corvettes for sale to their locals, meaning that potential customers didn't have to go long distance to the major "players" to purchase a Corvette.

Great to see Boardwalk in Redwood City, CA. (#12 =180 Vettes). Wonder how many Tim Boone sold personally of the total? Have to think it's way disproportionate in his favor, which he deserves I might add.

We're looking forward to climbing this list this year. Great things to come in 2017.

Interesting to see the selling breakdown, at least by the big 50 in Vette sales.

I bought my last 2 C7s (2014+2016) at Phillips Chevy in Frankfort Illinois. They were always listed as one of the big sellers on previous lists. They're not on the new list. I don't understand it. Nobody in the Chicagoland area beats them price wise, nobody.
