Any personalized plates are a huge 'look at me.' It invites attention from anyone who sees it. To me, that's just too dangerous to want to contend with. The C7 is already a 'look at me' car. Do really want and need extra attention?

Yea, starting to think that way but still could do something like 5300043 which is the sequences VIN for the collectors series but to most folks might look like a sequential plate.

It's car #43 of this Collectors series that will be at most 1000 made. The last digits of the VIN that are on the plate matches that. Each car in the series starts with 53 and ends with the sequence they are in the series.

I agree. You've got a "look at me!" car anyway. There's no really good reason to announce to the world that you won it. I mean, it's great that you did and all, so congrats. But it could be construed as a brag, and an unearned one at that. It may not be as bad as putting Trump sticker on your car* but it may be a red flag to some emotionally immature folks who don't take kindly to it. Not worth the risk. Tell those who ask, but don't tell the world.

* You may have seen the paint vandalism one vette owner experienced who had a Trump sticker--thousands of dollars of damage.
