Oh happy Day! Paid off the new GS today........it just looks and feels a little nicer without bank co-ownership!

They always feel a bit faster when you own them. Congrats! You can also raise the insurance deductible and save some cash.

With the essentially free money that's been available for the last 8 years or so, that wouldn't feel good to me at all. I can make a lot more leaving my cash invested, even conservatively.
