Ditto on the sun visor being a possible source. My wife actually came up with the solution while we were on a drive-I had to give her the credit. It was sure irritating, though!

I'm also getting a rattle from inside the dash. I hear it usually in 5th gear. Will have to check the visor and vents as suggested. I haven't asked the dealer because I don't want them to take my dash apart...

I had a rattle that drove both of us nuts on a recent drive-about. I thought it was coming from the back and my wife thought it was from the center dash area. I even stopped to see if anything in the rear cubby or license plate was rattling. It was the passenger sun visor not being latched and rattling against the clip. DOH!

i had a raddal that i was positive it was coming from the center of the dash. drove me crazy! ended up being a loose rear view mirror mount
