Yes they have the gas guzzler tax. I have no idea if it's tax deductible or not.

Buy used and save even more money. Guzzler tax 100% absorbed by new buyer.

Burning it up!
I have a Corvette so America has always been great to me. My goal in doing my patriot duty is to burn as much 93 as I possibly can. While others discuss their hypermile type fuel economy, I look at the other end of the scale and see how FEW mpg I can achieve because of this simple formula
LOWER MPG = MORE FUN

Buy a GS with the A8 and no GG tax. Then apply the savings in the initial cost difference between the Z06 and the GS plus the money you saved by not paying the GG tax, to add an E-Force to your GS and have money left over(and have better acceleration gearing in the GS vs the Z06).

A8 = Yes. M7 = No. Tax write-off = No.
