If you fall off something it's not the fall that kills you it's the sudden stop at the end. Rather fall off a step stool or a skyscraper?

I guess it all depends. If I fall off a stepstool, break my neck, become a quadriplegic, a financial, and emotional drain on my family for the rest of my life. I'd prefer the skyscraper.

Honestly, probably the 100, death would be more instant. But dead is still dead.

The outlier aside, that fall would kill if not for the rocks jagged surface breaking his fall on the way down.

I live in the same world you do only I expect more from companies willing to offer a service and charge for it. You can't advertise "drivers are able to enjoy a safe and fun day at the track" and "controlled and professionally staffed environment" or "Overall SAFETY and SAFE DRIVING is the paramount priority" and then claim zero accountability when an accident occurs that can be attributed to a surface condition.
FYI, one of those quotes is from a Porsche affiliated track website

Absolutely no excuse for filing a false insurance claim - if you wreck a car doing things not covered under your insurance policy, then too bad for you. Now the guy faces legal action - not the way to go. Then to post up a video of the event - .

So the car is obliterated? You can't be "deader"
Besides, when was the last time you saw an accident where the person struck the object at over 100 MPH?
I don't think I ever have seen or heard of one. #1 cause everybody brakes, and #2 even on many tracks going over 100 MPH can be difficult in most street cars (I think on all the tracks I've actually driven, there is a singular straight where I get over 100, and then it's usually 110-140 MPH and I brake so that if I did stuff it I'd hit whatever wall at less than 100 MPH).
If you don't think you can die in a 35 MPH crash, because the video doesn't look like the above, then well I've got news for you: You can, and it's very likely you will if you hit someone at that speed.
Again, dead is dead. Deader or more dead don't exist.

Why do C7 Z06's pull to the right violently when breaking loose...WTF.
#94
Which brings us to the question of why Vettes pull to the side, violently, instead of simply spinning both tires and continuing in a straight line?

Can you give me the short answer as to why?

A lot of C6 and C5 owners with anecdotal comments saying their car NEVER kicks sideways - if it spins it spins, but still goes straight.

No, if that were the case, we'd all be deceased. What kills is the body striking an object that is not moving. Such as the windshield and the dashboard once the vehicle has cease moving forward. Unless, said person is thrown from the vehicle because of not being properly restrained.

There's some law fail in here. Any racetrack that doesn't have you sign a standard waiver for negligence would be run by dumb bunnies. And a waiver is generally enforceable if properly written (informs signer of the risks, only waives negligence, not recklessness or intentional conduct).
BTW, last I checked, Corvettes are among the top-10 cheapest cars to insure in America, not sure why people are complaining about regular comprehensive. I pay like under $900/yr.
I couldn't tell from the video; was he still on the throttle when he spun out into the wall? Only other way that happens is if his front linkage broke? I don't know how someone owns a hi-po car for more than 10 minutes and doesn't understand GTFO the throttle when you start to fishtail. Edit: OK spinout to the right is a C7Z thing?

16 Vettes and counting…..
Wtv what's the point of insuring a car if you can't race it and have a bad day ;;; insurance sucks as far as I know you can't pay enough money to get insurance at drag strip !!! If it happen to me I would tell the truth and insist they pay for it *** don't think the guy really deserves since he had to white lie to get what he pays for and in turn has to pay and pay even more
My 2 cents
