Default Extended GM Warranty?

2016 Z06/Z07 w/ 11,500 miles, i am looking to extend the warranty which expires 8/2018.

What options are available? I am looking for GM only coverage.

I just received an email regarding a Platinum Package, 48mon is $7500. That's CRAZY. I never heard of an extension costing this much money. It has ALOT of services i dont care about or would use. Rental car, $0 deductible. I NEVER bring my car to the dealer but it would be nice to have something in case something major goes wrong.

Thanks

Also talk to Dennis. Price may be about the same but without Sales Tax as Montana doesn't have sales tax. He and his brother Ken are forum sponsors as well so it helps to support them when things are equal.

That's essentially the same as buying a 48 month plan just before the end of the factory warranty, but it would be a lot more then.

I agree you should check w/ Dennis first on the price of the same plan.

Thinking I'm at 95% yes I will get extended warranty when it's time, unless I hit the Lottery and can move on to newer Vette.

Something others should consider is that all the GM plans are much cheaper at the $100 deductible level. That's probably a smarter financial decision.

These quotes are ridiculous. I have 2014 z51 Stingray. 6 months ago added 5 more years of additional warranty on top of the extended warranty I already had. This is the new GM warranty. Platinum coverage with $100.00 deductible with no restrictions. I purchased this through Abel Chevrolet in Rio Vista, CA. My car is loaded with all options. My cost, $680.00! I don't know where you folks are getting these absurd quotes.

It is not 3rd party. It is GM's extended warranty. They are the real deal. I bought my warranty from them in February and my experience was great. The folks at Knapp are first class all the way
