Default Z06 lower rocker panel vent scoops

Has anybody purchased and installed the lower rocker panel vents scoops package from ACS and sold by RPI Designs? If so, which style? What comments do you have regarding quality, paint match and ease of installation? Also, if you have any photos that would be great.

Well, OK, has anyone thought about purchasing these add-on scoops?

Without the wide body and the way they are designed, they look a little too tacked on for my taste.

I'm holding for ones that will tie in with a widebody conversion.

Pretty sure these were introduced like a week or so ago, so I doubt anyone has purchased and installed them yet.

I think they are too new for anyone to have them yet and installed. I know 2 vendors carry them.

I'm considering them.

I'm also on the fence about the purchase. The price point is a bit high. I'm thinking about the ones with the functional air duct and would like to see an install video, without the music and sideways camera angles. The current install video from ACS is not very well made.

Good feedback. I've contacted ACS and requested them to email me a copy of the written installation instructions for the functional Z51 kit. I'll share it with you when I hear back from them.

I'm also considering them. I think they would look good and blend in well on my black Z51. I would to know more about the functionality of the brake vents before I go for that option. As far as price, about the same as a set of side skirts.

Had them done and blended into my rockers so no lines. Now I'm doing the z06 conversion selling my rockers in silver already molded to rockers.

They look pretty good. Did you have a body shop do the work? Did they repaint the whole rocker in order to blend them in with no line?
Are they the functional or non-functional scoops?

They painted the whole rocker. If you would like to buy these I can sell you the full rocker all you would need to do is paint yours. 600 for both.

Default Q

Have you figured out a way to do the conversion without taking old rocker off and installing the new z06 rocker aperture panel. Has anyone made the conversion rocker that overlays the original so the zo6 rear quarter panels line up.
