I use Zaino yellow borderless towels.

But with XPEL I don't worry about "swirls" cause the XPEL self heals.

Those are excellent towels, and even though they cost more they are well worth it. But.....Here are some the same quality.

Isn't opti coat hydrophobic ? I thighs that with nano coatings you don't need to wipe or blow dry.

I use the "California Water Blade" on my XPEL. That thing is magical! After I get most of the water off with its squeegee-like effect, I use a cotton towel to finish off. XPEL is much more resilient that clear coat alone. I'm a detail nut and this thing is liberating.

I always dry my car the touchless way with a leaf blower.

There are lots of wild claims out there, truth is coatings act pretty much like any other sealant or wax, they just last longer. Washing and drying is easier than an uncoated surface, but still required.

I have 3M clear bra over the majority of the panels so use deionized water then Master Blaster heated air to blow-dry.
