Are C7 Z51 wheels forged?

That debate raged often in 2014. According to GM, they are forged.
You can read this discussion for an example of the debate but post 35 has a photo of Tadge in front of a Powerpoint presentation that clearly shows Z51 wheels are forged:

Just posted below on another thread. I think all but the most expensive wheels are rotary forged and that's how mine were made. Check out the company website. There's a lot of good stuff about their wheels.
Now these are made in Taiwan which I guess would be considered China. They are a GM stamped factory wheel. Check out the company website that makes them. These people have their **** together. Zoom into this photo, the workmanship is outstanding. 95% of the people that see these wheels (R86) think they are chrome (only downside) because of the ultra high polish they achieve.

As I recall he said it was necessary to meet the strength requirements and keep the large diameter wheels light.

Rotary forged and flow forged are different terms for the same process.
