Detailed pics of front fascia removal (Z06 grille swap)
Mods, please move to proper section if needed.
**First, a big thanks to Jeremy Welborn for his video on YouTube. Without the video I wouldn't know where to start.
I wanted to add these pics to show how the bumper sits on the car and explain how to safely remove and reattach the bumper as just pulling up would not do the trick. It's the very ends of the top of the facia that need to be pulled up to be released from the brackets. Once those are released, the bumper will simply fall off. (There's another video claiming there are several hidden "clips" behind the facia, but no other clips exist other than these 2 guides.
EDIT: Sorry, can't edit my post to get in between the pics to give more details about each pic, so just ask if you have questions.

Nicely done, I think the Z06 grille looks a lot better than the standard Stingray grille.

Thanks Sir. Couldn't stand the chrome, didn't like the way the edges of the carbon flash vinyl decals sat on the chrome, so I went this route (picky, I know).
(Note to self, dust off the hood and fender next time you take upclose pics)

Start to finish, 2.5 hours. Could be a lot quicker but I hadn't done it before, was extra cautious.

There's no question it's a great swap, but the only reason I would want the stingray grille with the factory painted cabon flash strips is I don't want people to think my car is a wannabe Z06 clone. If I could comfortably buy the 16 Z06 last year instead of my 16 Z51, I would, but with another sports car, a family and a business, I couldn't. Unfortunately, GM won't sell just the carbon flash strips and i'm not paying thru the nose for another complete stingray grill with c.f. strips. With that said, the Z06 grill looks awesome, and let's be realistic, most people ogle the vette because, well, its a c7 vette. They wouldn't know the difference between a stingray grille and a z06 grille if it kicked them in the rear.

Has anyone seen used Carbon Flash grilles for sale?
How much has anyone seen them sell for?
How much does a new Carbon Flash grille from GM sell for?

Wouldn't be a problem except it's supposed to cool off and snow here again this weekend. So I dusted it off, wiped it down, plugged it in and put the cover back on for a few more weeks. I'll get some pics in a few weeks.

They're all carbon flash, including the z06 one I installed. I believe you can also order the z06 grille in satin black (low gloss). If you're asking about the the chrome strips on the stock stingray grille in factory painted carbon flash, then yes, beginning in 16, you could order your stingray with the strips in carbon flash. So I called 2 dealers about it. One wasted 20 mins of my life checking and finally informed me that it's not a grille he could order (so according to that logic, if you ordered your vette with carbon flash strips you better hope it never gets damaged because no replacement grille exists), but I was tired and couldn't use logic against his stupid answer, the other dealer quoted me just under $400 (which is ridiculous because I bought a brand new, OEM z06 grille for just a bit over 200 out the door). So long story short, the Z06 grille is best bang for buck.

Sorry. I wasn't very clear. I meant Stingray Grille, not Z06 Grille.
How much is a new Carbon Flash Stingray Grille?
Has anyone seen used ones for sale? Any for sale ads here to see how much used ones have sold for?

There's one used for sale in our parts section now. He's asking $350, looks very clean, but it is one with the cameras.
