Scan disc
when using the scan disc in the car do you just leave it in the slot all the time even when not using it? Or do you remove it until the next time you want to record.

I agree with leave it in. It will be OK if you leave it in.The only time I take mine out is if I have a particular run that I want to save to my computer. Other than that, taking it in and out can do nothing but damage the memory card or the receiver slot in the vette.
I have slowly been learning the PDR. last time out, I tried all the different overlays.
I am glad that I got the Nav/PDR option.
Can't wait for the winter blues to be over and have some fun with this.

Same here Jim, I leave them in all my cars until I want to play another one. Doesn't hurt a thing.

Or get two, so whenever you take it out, you always put one in, just so you never forget because it won't be there when you want it.
I try to use mine like a dash cam and record almost every time I drive in case I capture something interesting and so I'm familiar with using the system really well. I wish it could be set to just record all the time.
