I don't know enough about these, except that I love seeing the high quality work guys like you produce.... You make it look easy. My wife got me a "toy" drone 2 Christmas' ago and it's very difficult to keep it under control. Keep in mind, it's in the category of "toy"...... you know, the $59 type.

I just showed her your video clip and she asked how much is it going to costs us
I don't mean to step on his thread, but I would like to help out! I owned the phantom 4, great drone. I recommend to new pilots that they avoid anything below a phantom 3, toys are discouraging as they are hard to fly. The mavic has a more reliable connection as it uses oculync instead of wifi. The mavic has obstacle avoidance underneath and in front, mavic has sport mode which flys around 60mph, phantom's range is about 2.5 miles and mavic is about 3.5 miles. But the best feature is mobility. The phantoms are big, bulky, eat up a lot of car space. The mavic folds up and can clip to my beltloop if I wanted to. It's very portable and lightweight. Even the controller is smaller and has it's own screen showing all data. And for what it's worth, it has a charging station to charge 4 batteries and the controller from 1 location at 1 time. No need to swap out batteries after each charge.

That was incredible and I know it took quite a bit of time and planning to put that together. Your efforts are appreciated and you are hereby awarded an Atta Boy. Thanks

Good to meet you! You're right, Mavic is an incredible product. I personally think it should be nominated for an overall product of the year for someone like Popular Mechanics. For anyone reading this who is on the fence about it, you have to try it.

Yes for the driving shots I had my brother in law piloting from the passengers seat, though it was in follow me mode yes. Flee itself.

yes, I second everything said here. The controller is much more friendly as well. It stands alone.

You were up in my neck of the woods. I'm about 10 minutes from the parkway in Mount Airy. NC. If you come up again give me a pm and we can meet up I would love to see the drone in action. I bought on of those "toys" to get into it and I would be afraid to even get within 50ft. Of my car with my skills...lol

Awesome! That car is one of the nicest I have seen. Great color, kept simple. Is that Watkins Glenn Grey? I want one!!
BTW I would have crashed my drone into the roof of the car (not on purpose)!!!

Unreal!! You kind of hijacked the thread but who cares!! That is awesome! You captured something that used to be so hard to get. So cool. You should post in the off topic section also. Many people will see that and you will get a ton of kudos. Thanks for posting!!

I know, I shouldn't have done that. I made the thread about drones instead of c7's.

Nicely done editing. That is the hard (or at least tedious) part of the drone thing.
