Foosh, wouldn't the Z51 outperform a base Stingray on a track ? The two sway bars on the Z51 would make somewhat of a difference in lap time I'd think.

Yes, absolutely it would. And it's not just sway bars, but bigger tires, brakes, brake cooling, transmission cooler, eDiff w/ PTM, not to mention the dry sump which protects the engine from oil starvation.
But quite frankly, it's more about the driver. A pro in a base could make an amateur in a Z06 look very slow.
