Take it back to dealer and have them detune it so it won't spin them as easy...might even suggest that they remove the belt to the supercharger.

Don't push the throttle down so much. You are driving a high torque engine and you can't step on it like a Toyota minivan.

Drive it in weather mode until you get comfortable with it.

my ZO6 has 1100 miles on it and has not spun the tires a single time while driving normally. My normal is taking it through the gears spirited but keeping the rpms below 5K. I'm sure if I WOT it would be spinning me out of control.

Huge amounts of torque with these cars.... there's a learning curve with everything about them: brakes, cornering, throttle control....

Take your time - you're in a whole new realm..... these cars can cover ground with amazing rapidity - and that rapidity can get one into a whole world of trouble very quickly.... again... there's a learning curve - take your time. Learn the car.

If you haven't driven a car with more than 300 hp or so there is a learning curve with these race cars. You have to respect the power.

You don't have your location listed but if you are in cold weather the summer only tires do not stick. You will get excess wheel spin in lower temps.

I am upset that mine pushes me back in the seat sometimes when I push the skinny pedal too far. I wonder if I could sue GM for whiplash

I'd suggest you don't turn the nannies off unless your life insurance is paid up.

In PTM modes the traction control work much better (by reducing engine power) than in regular modes. In other modes it reacts to spinning and engaging TCS meanwhile in PTM it's proactive and intervenes with timing/spark in addition.
By the way Sport mode for traction is much better IMO but in cold temps it sucks regardless. I just don't like the way the car drives in Tour.
