Center console lock?
Does anybody make a lock for the Center Console? I want to leave my top down and not have that area accessible to others. Thanks

No it doesn't lock at all.
Corvettes haven't had a center console that locked since about '07. Even those that locked would open with a hard yank.
Just don't keep anything in it you care about. It's not that big a space, anyway.

Yep, the "sliding info screen door" locks with a number code so if giving to someone to park the car, you can lock "stuff" there.
Someone mentioned that you should put in a code or if you don't and someone does, perhaps by mistake when fumbling setting up "stuff," they can set a code you don't know! Never did for my 2014 I just sold! Good, no need to call the buyer and tell them what it was!!
Should have erased the garage door code when I sold it! Oh well, hopefully they have programmed the switch to their garage door by now!

If manual, i heard if you put it in Reverse it will lock the screen.

If you put it in reverse the center screen will lock. However, all you need to do is take it out of reverse, which can easily be done, and it will open.
You could program valet mode and that will lock the center screen.

I've noticed that unless i unlock the car with the fob or open a door first, I can't reach into it without triggering the alarm. I don't keep anything of value in the car.

For real protection if you decide to store important stuff in the center console while parking with the roof off, you can enter valet mode, which will disallow the opening of the center screen, the glove box and not allow operation of the radio. No motion sensor will be engaged however.

Thanks for the responses, but I am not concerned about the center screen door, but the center console and if anyone knows of any vendor who sells a locking mechanism, or a replacement console that locks. Thanks.

Dude are you talking about somebody actually "jimmy'ing" your entire front console?!? That's a whole different story. What area do you live in?! Lol

I don't think anything will do any good if someone is determined to jack your entertainment system from your dash.

in the way of if you're in the car to do whatever you can easily take it out of reverse. I suppose if you didn't know about the lock out feature but chances are if you have the fob to begin with you're going to take the whole car....in for a penny, in for a pound.
