Default Beautiful day here in SW Washington

OK, many here will think this thread is a waste of space and clicks and that's OK. Those folks can just move on. After what's been an unusually cold and wet winter we had a beautiful day today. It was mostly sunny, temps hit 60, and the roads were dry. I had to take the Stingray off life support (battery tender) and go for a drive. I'd had it out a few other times during the winter but today was by far the nicest day since last fall. To my surprise, I had forgotten just how much I love driving this car and how great I feel inside when I drive it. Mine is just a "lowly" Stingray coupe with Z51 but I couldn't love it any more than I do even if it was a loaded Z06. The acceleration is blistering, the sounds are magnificent, and the looks it gets from others are still amazing even though the C7 is now in its fourth model year. It was almost like driving the car for the first time. We are very fortunate to own these beautiful machines.

I totally agree. Mine is just a Stingray base too (not even Z51) but is exactly what I wanted. Love the looks of GS and ZO6 but I could care less about the performance. Enjoy what I have.

Didn't make it up this far. It rained all day. Since October we've had three days that weren't complete doom and gloom, the worse I remember. It's getting kind of old.

Aww, Mike, don't be so sensitive; you own a great car. The other models are derivatives of the original, and you have the original! Enjoy the ride!

I feel your happiness. Yesterday was the first day in several weeks that it did not rain. Bike or Vette?? Today the BMW took the coin toss...

In the mid fifties and sunny (more or less) Marina and I took the motorcycle out for about 150 miles of scenic Oregon central coast. A grand day to be out on the road.

Today? Colder, and pouring rain forecasted for the next three days, at least...

I too am a PNW'er but the weather in my neck of the woods (between Seattle and Tacoma, near Mt. Rainier) SUCKED TODAY; rain, rain and rain....now I'm not complaining (well, alittle) as there are always people worse off (hi Chicago) but it shows you how big our state is and how much weather can vary....end of lesson

I could have basically copied your post and been accurate with my own Sunday experience here in SW WA... right down to taking my C7 off "life support". The only difference is mine is an even "lowlier" Stingray (Blade Silver 3LT w/o Z51)... yet I had a great time getting out on this singular nice day, venturing from Camas to north of Woodland... tooling around up there for a while... and then heading back.

Now, my Stingray is back in the garage, reconnected to life support, waiting for that next nice weather window to open. Looks like it's gonna be a while!

You might want to secure your connector cover on the garmin mount.
