Small puddle under car
2017 Z51 M7 trans. 1500 miles.
Yesterday night I pulled the car out of the garage into the driveway. I noticed a small 1/2 dollar size puddle under the left front corner of the car in the garage. It was reddish in color. Could it be the power steering rack or is it possible radiator fluid.? It was night, so i did not get a chance to craw under the car or look under the hood.

Sounds like coolant. I started finding the same small puddles under the left front last year on my '14 and discovered the radiator plastic end cap was separating from the core. It was replaced under warranty.

Wouldn't think its coming from the power steering since the system is electrical. Coolant is definitely a possibility, though.

Guess I better start checking my 2014 a little closer.... my warranty expires next month (April)

Safety Car
Not sure on the C7 but in the last three years (two in the past 6 months) I am 0 for three with corvette radiators.
the C5 was catastrophic failure were the whole neck broke off at the upper radiator hose driving to the dealer
the 07 took a dive 3 weeks before Ibsold it to get the C7, plastic tank cracked.
My wife's 05 was last month small crack leaving little puddles just as you described.
so I would say there is at least a chance the your GM radiator might have a cracked tank.

Here is a pic of my 2015 water pump leak at 15,000 miles. Notice the location of the coolant.
If the radiator tank is leaking the leak would show up in front of the cross-member. Go to the dealer like I did so they can find the problem and fix it.

Update on Puddle under Left front
Went to the dealer this last Thursday.
They pressurized the cooling system. When you look down at the left side of the radiator there is 2 aluminium pipes that connect to the radiator.
The front one had a small drip coming from the mechanical connection. The tech wants to replace the complete tube. He said it is faulty. Up to 2-3 weeks to get new parts.
Looking at it, being the car has 1500 miles on it, I would say it was leaking from day one. I am not sure what type of mechanical connection it is going to the radiator, O-ring possible, compression ??? Parts on order, will bring car back when parts arrive.
He was telling me that this hose goes to the top of the engine by the thermostat. Is is to help eliminate air in the system during high RPM times.

I'm actually sitting in the dealership waiting room right now while they change my oil and look into a small drop of coolant I found on the garage floor after backing the car out from winter storage. Car is a 2014 with Z51 option. Hope it's not the radiator, but my warranty expires in June so whatever it is I need it fixed ASAP. Anyone know how big of a job removing and replacing a C7 rad is? Hoping it comes out from the bottom?

Not only does the radiator come out the top, but I think they also have to remove and replace the freon from the AC system.

Well, they said they could find no evidence of a leak anywhere. I made sure they documented in writing that I complained of seeing a leak, so if it ever materializes into anything I should be able to get it taken care of. I bought the car certified pre-owned and still have bumper to bumper warranty til sometime in June. Also have as many free oil changes as I want until this December. Brought the car home after an hour drive and have not seen any drips.

Yeah, if mine develops anything after warranty is up it'll give me a good excuse to trade up... It's only got 4000 miles on it so it better not need a water pump OR radiator.
