Why you need a tow hook and...
A bunch of 2x4's... Saw this, yesterday, at a speed event in AZ. Don't know why this beautiful Z06 was toast, but it was interesting watching the tow truck load it up. Owner was smart to have the tow hook. Tow truck driver was smart enough to have some 2x4's. Without the wood under the front wheels, the Z06 splitter would have been toast.
Even with the wood, loader had some problems. But, with smart car-nuts around, they advised him how to inch up the rear of the bed, to raise the splitter.
If the owner is a forum member, and sees this, hope all is well with your Corvette!

Interesting. Based on the brake rotors it looks like he has the Z07 package but the front splitter doesn't look like a GM splitter. Definitely didn't put on the Stage 3 End Caps if it is a GM Splitter.
