I disagree. PPF with a protective finish applied will not be damaged by bug juice/bird duty. You are correct that you should not use wax/polish that is yellow (really anything that has dye in it). However, there are tons of sealants that have no dye and Xpel recommends using those. Colored waxes are really outdated. Sealants are the current trend (have been for at least 15 years) with Rejex and Zaino. Newer products like CQuartz Ceramic have replaced those. Xpel recommends sealants - they even sell their own.

Number one, I drove 480 miles thru the rain from Hurricane Matthew this past October. Does my Novistretch look like it's full of water and sagging? Number two, you live too far north. We have very few love bugs here in SW Florida! Just saying!

I would never let one of those TOUCH my car - sand and dirt can accumulate on the edges and can leave fine scratches - but then again I am of the **** variety on scratches and typically use 7 (yes 7) wash rags when I wash - so keep that in mind on my answer. nothing rubs my paint but my wash rags and a clean car cover in the garage.

I am the same... but just get the car coated with a ceramic coating.
I have 3M full frontal and rockers with a Pearl Nano Ceramic coating and the car looks perfect after every wash....

I use mine all the time with zero issues. However, my entire front clip has been covered with self healing Expel Ultimate so any fine marks simply fade away should they occur.

I almost had Xpel put on but when I talked to a few people that had it I decided not to. The fact is it's nice but far from perfect. Plus, for the money a paint job is cheaper.

Oh, Charles, Charles, you've gotta stop handing us these straight lines. It is all I can do not to knock this question out of the park.
I see that NavyBlue already did it.

My 2014 Stingray had 22000 miles on it when traded in..... I drove it from Philly to Bowling Green so plenty of highway miles.....no bra... no expel no nothing..... except for a couple of very small marks in the clear coat that could be buffed out for sure..the front of the car still looked almost new .... any bra looks horrible on such a stunning car...

Speed Lingerie, great product and it keeps the rocks from chipping the front end

The sun makes it look lighter but it's a good match

I am thinking about buying one of these for my arctic white 2016. I had these on my prior C6's, but in reading the current instructions online, I'm not sure I'm following the install. How was install? Easy? Are you aware of any videos on the topic?

I had the NCM install the bra and mirror covers. I drove 3,600 miles home to CA. The second picture is after removing them - no cleaning.

Xpel gets my vote. You can't even tell it's there. Great protection without interfering with the fantastic looking front end!

I'm doing Rt 66 at the end of this month and I'm planning on taking a lot of photos of my car in all of the iconic locations. The last thing I want is some black bra in all of my photos. I have an appt to have XPEL ULTIMATE SELF HEALING film on Friday. I think I'll be much happier.

Totally agree, but I didn't really have a choice as I didn't have time to get the Xpel installed after our museum delivery. But you'll notice that most of the pictures in my album don't show the front end for that reason. I could have removed the bra but that isn't always the quickest thing to do. You'll be very happy with your Xpel for photos like that!
