I had used one on my Yellow C6 and also had their mirror covers. For my red 2014 didn't bother with the mirror covers but just bought them since the Grand Sport is white. They fit like a glove on the C6 and am sure they will do the same on the 2017. It is very compact and fits in a plastic food storage bag in the rear compartment (along with many other items.) Easy to install and remove, no vibration of a heavy bra that can cause wear. It is easy just hand wash and let dry.

Speed Lingerie, a bit expensive but looks good and does the job. Google it for details.

PPF is not the answer. The new generation is very porous. They now even tell you NOT to use anything (wax/polish) that is yellow because it WILL discolor the film. Bug juice and bird duty will do the same.

Where did you come up with that? It certainly isn't true of XPEL Ultimate or SunTek.
I had XPEL Ultimate on a white F-Type, and waxed over it many times. It still looked brand new after 3 years, and XPEL provides guidance that it's not only OK, but preferable to treat it just like paint for extra protection. Now obviously you don't use anything abrasive.
Sounds like you've never had any experience w/ today's PPFs, which is much better than the stuff from 10 years ago, which did yellow.

"Contamination from road oils, diesel smoke, pollen, and pollution can cause discoloration and deglossing of the film. While traditional automotive waxes can provide a small level of protection against contamination...moreover, waxes that contain dyes and other chemicals such as naptha or kerosene may dis color or degloss the film over time and should be avoided".
I have have been using PPF for 15+ years...long before 95% of the population knew what it was. I have extensive experience with Expel, 3M and Suntek. The film did not yellow...the glue did.
Think what you will. Believe what you will.

For protection from bugs, both on the painted bumper and also from getting in the grill area, I find the novi-stretch works very well. I also live in Florida (love bug country).

Sorry but those car bras look hideous. I have been using PPF for the last 15+ years and it works great. In my last three cars I have not noticed any yellowing.

Bra
Last year drove over 2700 miles with the Nova Stretch Bra, through some heavy rain, no problems. Took it off and washed it with hose. Also have the mirror covers. Both work well for me.

Charles, if you're looking for a heavier bra that protects from high speed larges objects on long road trips it surely ain't the GM bra, so save your money there. These are pictures from our first 5K mile trip with that bra. It's a sucky design that doesn't stay secure around the wheel well opening. I've bought an even thicker Colgan that has more secure clips to try on our next trip in August. I'm hoping for better results this time.

I just had suntek put on my C7 and you are correct. I was told by the shop not to wax it. In fact they told me not to use any detail spray unless it is clear. Cost me 900 dollars so I'll listen to them!

Since it made of Lycra you just take it off (2min job) and wring it out. When my get covered with Glue Bugs from driving on the highway, my wife just throws it into the wash and its as good as new.

My '34 ProStreet Rod is so difficult to get bugs off the air conditioner condenser and rad I use a removable screen that clips to the grill even though it is mostly just driven to Shows! It's designed to fit the '34 grill. I just remove it when I get there.

Having x-pel applied in May on the front. Will use novi-stretch as a back up as needed..
