I have a black top on my C6 GS convt and it has held up very well although not totally immune from crease marks. Living in Florida the top gets more exercise than it might further north.

You do know April 13th is the last day to order a 2017 Corvette?

I like black because it's safe. But having gone thru the crease marks of a gray, I still say for your car and its color, I agree w. those who say Blue. Just to make a joke: if you want matching cars in the garage, sell the '96 and buy two blue-top Stingrays--GM will thank you.

Well, I may be wimping out here but I finally decided to to with a BLACK top on our new 2017 Admiral Blue GS convertible.
We definitely wanted BLACK wheels on this car and was concerned that with all the color going on (blue ext, white stripe, red hashmarks, red int, black wheels) another shade of BLUE in the top might be too much.
If it had CHROME or PAINTED wheels, then I probably would have gone with the BLUE top.
Anyway, the decision has been made so now all we have to do is WAIT for it to be built and then released for R8C delivery. Won't come soon enough, that's for sure!
