Great Sunday post again. I especially liked the Grand Sport tribute and the "Wolf in Wolf's Clothing" ad. I remember the ad in car magazines back when I first wanted a Corvette.

Who has it better than you Mike? Helping so many people realizing their dreams, being involved in so many great Corvette events, getting to own and drive so many great Corvettes over the years.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you work long hours and work very hard but not many people get paid for their passion.

A couple years ago I surprised the Prescott Arizona Corvette Club as I flew in for their Corvette show. I was in and out in 40 hours. I met many customers that day that I had only spoke with on the phone and I signed up 5 new customers as well.
The Corvette brand is alive and well and I love representing. Almost in to my 40th year of doing this!!

It's a small world in a vette - But try this from home in a 50-yr old car?
Spotted a '66 dark green Vert 327/350 in Paris with Maine plate "L79-66" on page 1. Let's see...I know that car from somewhere. Oh yeah...6+ yrs ago I got a call from the owner sitting on the shoulder of I-10 needing a special bolt so he could continue his journey visiting the remaining lower 48 states. I enter member Jackfit ('s) journey somewhere in these 99 posts. Back then I had a TR 03Z which also appears. My user name changed since then. And Jack also changed my name to Joe.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=2650649
When he finished off the lower 48, Jack found it fit to do Europe in it, hence Jackfit (in Paris) featuring his 66 Vert.

We will be there in 30 days to verify for the 5th time. See that Caddie just ahead of the Olds? Back in '06 we got picked up in one like that (could have been the same one haha), not too far from there at the Wynn, by none other than some guy claiming to be Elvis, who took us straight to the Chapel. Wife was not excited when he played 50's music and was shaking all over. She got over it. And that marriage.

I've noticed that most of your photos are guys with their Corvettes. It seems like most photos of Corvette are with men. I can't help but wonder, what % of new Corvettes are bought by females?

[QUOTE=Mike@Criswell;1594336838][I][B]Thank you. My Father always said to do what you love. I have always loved Corvettes and Corvette people. Many of my customers turn in to friends and the mutual respect speaks volumes.

The harder Mike works, the luckier he gets.
And, yup, we were there in our home town of Prescott, AZ. when we walked in for the Friday night car show Meet and Greet...... And Mike was sitting there in an overstuffed visitors chair in the Lobby of the Hotel St. Michael on the Historic Downtown Courthouse Square where the 300 Corvettes were to be shown the next morning.
Wierd part of all of this was that we had just been talking to Mike that very Thursday while he was at his desk at Criswell in Gaitherbug, Maryland!!! (Of course, no mention of his surprise visit to see us and attend our Corvette car show the very next day. He just off handedly asked on our phone call how the weather was out in Arizona for that weekend of our car show...... The largest all Corvette car show in the Southwest). The next evening we meet him for the first time, from 3,000 miles away!
So...... He hops a plane, flies the entire width of the USA to Phoenix, rents a vehicle (Tahoe, of course!) and drives 2 hours to meet us for the very first time in Prescott, AZ.
THEN, he attended our Corvette participants Meet and Greet with the 300 plus Corvette owners that Friday evening, gets up before sunrise the next morning, walks the car show...... meeting many of his off site Courtesy and NCM delivery customers, writes up 5 C7 orders, then drives back that afternoon to Phoenix to turn in the rental vehicle (Tahoe, of course!), and then lands in Gaithersburg, Maryland that late evening.
WHEW......
Now THAT, CF members, is epic!

That pic says it all. He's at the beginning of your throwbacks and he was there in the beginning for GM in 1953 as well. I was reading where he attended the Corvette Motorama which was on display in NYC at the Waldorf Astoria beginning in Jan of 1953. He wrote a letter to GM. On May 1, 1953 he was working for GM as an engineer. He never looked in the rear-view mirror on performance.

I gotta ask Mike. Where do you get all of the old Corvette pictures? Oh, and keep them coming.
