He's 6'1... obviously didn't get that from me. 
He's been warned by friends who know... NOT to drink to excess during basic. His Mom says no drink whatsoever.
His other Grandpa lives in San Antonio so he'll have some guidance if and when he can find time to seek it out.

Congrats to your Grandson. Tell him to enjoy Lackland but behave himself on his first Liberty to the Riverwalk. I spent almost 10 years in San Antonio at Ft. Sam Houston. You can eat Mexican food at a different restaurant for a year and not eat at the same restaurant. Great city!

My son is an Air Force Captain and pilot. He is at Lackland right now for some training. Will be home Friday for a few days. Then back to California. You should be proud, I know I am.
