Default New car discounts?

I have seen the discounts on Corvettes that are on the lots of the big dealers. They are great discounts. My question is, if I order a car with my specifications, would it be discounted, and if so, how much approximately?

Depends on where you order from and what model (GS vs base vs Z06). I would contact Kerbeck/MacMulkin, etc and find out. I know the red tag discounts do not apply on a car that is ordered and I want to say that is about a 2% variance over the red tag dealer cars.

I can tell you that in February at least some of the forum dealers were offering 12% discounts on ordered cars. The discounts on cars in inventory continue to increase.

I ordered mine from Maculkin and got a 12% discount and all the cars they had on the lot was discounted by 14% back in January. Now I see some of the cars being discounted by 20% or more, but the bulk of them were autos and 2LT trims which I didn't want. Good luck with your purchase, it seems that there will be a lot of well priced Corvettes out on dealer lots.

You make your deal with the dealer. Ask what the deal is for an ordered car or an in stock car. Remember, you do not buy the car from GM. You buy the car from the dealer.

GM Supplier is less of a discount than Criswell and the other 2 big dealers are offering. And discounts on ordered vs in-stock are dealer specific so you should call them.

I'm stalking a Z06 at 1 of the big 3, it's been on the lot for over 2 months, if it gets to a certain price point I might have to pull the trigger lol

Depends on the dealer's neck of the woods, age/size of inventory, etc... If you have a trade you will likely find a better deal at a smaller dealer. I'd be happy to sell you a Corvette at a big discount if you're interested in exploring options!
