Painting indented Corvette letter on chrome wheels, need some help with paint to use.
Hello everyone,
This weekend I am planning on painting to indented Corvette letters on my chrome wheels red to match the calipers and need help on what type of paint to use.
1. Can I use red model paint (testors)
2. Should I go to Auto Zone and get red paint there.
Thanks for your help...

testor paint is enamel and would be okay, I used the torch red paint from auto zone sprayed it into a little cup and then used a small brush to put it into the indentations wiped off the excess with lacquer thinner. Easy to do. Automotive paint is lacquer and using lacquer paint will last longer. will post pictures tomorrow

I would just use some touch up paint. Should hold up just fine.
