My first two Corvettes were "saved" for the next owner - I constantly worried about resale value. Now I drive them as much as possible. I'll be selling my '08 C6 with 89,000 miles in the next month or two. I picked up my Z06 mid-December and have 3,500 miles and am looking forward to putting a lot more on it!
I wish I could take mine out a lot more also. Suppose to be in the 70's starting Saturday and all next week tho so I foresee it going out many times!!

Btw love your avatar. I have a black/tan dobie also. Great dogs!!!

as long as there is no snow (I have the summer tires that came with it) and temps are around 30F I drive the vet. does not matter if it rains. it is meant to be driven, so enjoy it.

I toyed with the idea of doing the same thing last week. Then we got 3 ft of snow. A lot of melting needs to happen just to get back to last week! Maybe April 1?

I took mine out on Monday here in New England. It was 50.

Life is short and the car will depreciate if you drive it or park it.

Amen to that, brother!

Yes I also drove my vet yesterday (felt real good) for the first time in 3 months, in fact I drove it to the tire dealer to have my 4 Michelin A/S3+ ZP's installed.

I always appreciate a good line and that was a good one. When its cold the tires are like rolling stones they are so hard.

The only time I don't drive mine is when there is salt out on the street.

I got past driving my car only when it's dry. This past winter it wouldn't have been driven at all!

OP, even though it's raining pretty hard right now, you've inspired me to drive the Vette to school today!

I know, in some vette circles I'm a sinner!
I too decided a little salt dust is not stopping me.

Got a decent amount of rain tonight in Tewksbury, but it may not have made its way south to you.
