Default Bad Boy today

Couldn't stand it any longer took the vette out to breakfast this morning. 15 degrees, A/S 3+ tires great, no Ackerman. Streets are dry, some snow left but no melting, salt puddles. Just some white salt powder residue. Will wash the underside before it gets wet.

I know, in some vette circles I'm a sinner!

If driving the car when you want makes you a sinner then I'm going to hell with a smile on my face.

Good for you. I do the same thing. It's a car and it was meant to be driven. If you are a sinner then I am too.

Came through it in flying colors. Took a long time for the tires to show "warm" though. My other vettes I wouldn't drive in rain or otherwise perfect conditions. But I just turned the big 70 so anything can happen at this age to take you down, although I stay in shape at the gym 3x a week. But you never know when your last day driving the vette is. So I've decided I'm just going to freaking drive it when I want to, it's such a great machine.

I drove my Corvette to work this morning even though it was only 18F and there is still some very light salt residue on the roads. It won't hurt anything, and it's going to warm up a lot more this afternoon (around 40F) I'm just so tired of driving my bad weather car, I can't wait until the weather is consistently good so I can drive the Corvette to work at least 3 or 4 times a week.

I need counseling...I wont take my car out unless its at least 65 degrees and sunny. Ive always been this way for some reason. Must have been abused as a child or something. LOL! Cheers man! Glad you enjoyed the day!

I was like that with my previous vettes. Then I got old and figured life is too short and getting shorter every day @70. Now I'm a sinner.

I drive mine everyday it's not raining. A friend of mine who is a cardiologist said everyone has just so many heart beats and he can't tell how many. Enjoy your car and don't save it for the next owner.

Other than a few days hen it snowed heavily, I've been doing something I really didn't think I'd do. ----Drive my Z06 in the winter.

I miss driving it far too much to let some cold weather or wet roads keep me from driving it. The salt is a mild concern but I rinse it off after each drive plus the saran wrap helps.

Good for you! I had a second set of wheels/tires for my C6 and have the A/S 3+ on my "winter" wheels. Now I'm waiting for Michelin to bring out their all-season in C7 Z06 sizes so I can do the same. the Pilot Super Sports work well in the rain but not as well as the A/S 3s do, especially when it's in the 30s.

My first two Corvettes were "saved" for the next owner - I constantly worried about resale value. Now I drive them as much as possible. I'll be selling my '08 C6 with 89,000 miles in the next month or two. I picked up my Z06 mid-December and have 3,500 miles and am looking forward to putting a lot more on it!
