Default C7 Z51 suspension

im looking to get a C7 z51 with no magnetic ride control. I was thinking about upgrading to adjustable coil overs. That way I can set it one way for the street and another for the track. Any advice on what I should get would be much appreciated. Thanks

Are you doing this for ride height or dampening? If the latter, I'd go with MSRC with DSC mod which has received great reviews.

Unless you are well learned in adjusting compression/rebound and plan to corner balance, I would stick with mag ride for superior performance on track.

Don't mess with the mag ride stuff if you are really going to track the car a lot. There is a reason GM made the T1 kit for the non mag ride cars. The springs are much softer in the mag ride cars. Springs should hold up the car in turns not the dampers.

If the non magnetic ride has stiffer springs does that mean it will perform better?

Hmm, look up the package (just google) and you'll see it includes, springs, shocks, sway bars with links and A arms. Yep it will perform better. May not like the ride for the street!

I dunno. Very nice having a simple switch inside the car to adjust the ride handling. Switches have now replaced jacks and creepers.
