Good for you and welcome to the forum...

I bought the same last August and have been enjoying it ever since. It's a great car. Post up some pictures when you can...

I certainly hope that your health issues are resolved in a favorable manner, get well soon.

You can also contact GM via online chat with the VIN number and they can tell if the car has a flagged warranty.
Absolutely get the Service Record from a Chevy dealer even if you have to pay for it. Have a Service Tech go over it with you. That will tell you if the car was problematic or someone is just selling a low mileage Z51 for whatever reasons.
Also, check to see if it has NPP exhaust. NPP was NOT standard on the Z51 in 2014. I've never found one that didn't have it, but they do exist.
That said, I have a used, 2014 Z51 with mag ride. It's a great car. Mine is a low mileage car with only 8K on the clock. While I've only put 4K on it in the last year. The previous owner put an average of 2K per year on it.

A car with that low of mileage should be on original tires, unless owner changed them to an All Season, either way with that knowledge you know he wasn't tracking it.

Have him pull the dealer report.

I have a 14 with 6K miles on it, no way if I sold it I am letting someone take it just anywhere to get it checked out, plus what are they going to find that you can't find by driving it?

Half of us won't let a dealer or anyone else change the oil, let alone pulls wheels off to check brakes, put it on a lift so they can rip the rockers off of it..

This will be my first corvette.
My 2014 Z51 just turned 6000. Purchased June 2014. View the window sticker for the car to verify all options.
Good luck

I picked up my used '14 Z51 in November last year with 1700 miles on the clock. Give it a thorough cosmetic/mechanical inspection and then buy it and enjoy it. It's the most fun car I've driven. Zero buyer remorse and saving for tasteful mods.

I have a mid-run (VIN 16xxx) 2014 2LT Z51 that has been perfect. Do the sensible checks but you should be getting a great car.

^^^ Very nice. I like the red calipers with the black. Nice contrast.

Enjoy!
