Default When are splitter & side skirts sent to dealer?

Have a Grand Sport on order with a CFZ splitter and side skirt option. I understand those parts are sent to the dealer's parts department.

In my case that is a Courtesy Delivery dealer. Was windering if anyone knows when those parts are sent?
Thanks.

Hmm, hopefully they don't get sent to the selling dealer. I guess that wouldn't be that big of a deal, they'd just send them on. I have no idea though, I would figure they'd get sent to arrive the same time or before your car.

The parts are shipped separately to the courtesy delivery dealer...usually before the car gets there.

The parts arrive at the parts department and the boxes have the car's VIN on them.

Thanks! The key is the VIN on the box. Not sure this dealer has done Vettes as courtesy delivery. They do many salesman's cars with courtesy delivery for the largest employer in town with 3500 employees.

Fortunately the service manager's wife has a 2016 Vette! I'll let him know (just in case he doesn't) when the car is built; scheduled for next week.

Jerry,

Mine arrived boxed ahead of the car by a few days. As stated above, my VIN # was on the box.

As I was planning on using my full length side skirts ( C7 Carbon GTX) and my matching carbon fiber front splitter, I told my dealer NOT to install these and leave them in the box.

Sold both GS factory pieces in a day on this fabulous forum !!!!

My car arrived at the courtesy deliver dealer a little over a week from when it was completed. The splitter and side skirts came to the parts department just prior to the cars arrival.
