Best interior cleaner for '17 GS 2LT (black interior)
Just purchased a new 2017 GS 2LT w black interior. I know the seats are leather. I think the rest of the interior is leather, vinyl and plastic? I was wondering if i need separate cleaners for the seats, dash and controls? Or is there 1 cleaner that can do it all? Thanks for helping a first time Vette owner.

Damp microfiber should be all you need unless you spill something really sticky.

As mentioned, water should always be your first choice, just a damp microfiber cloth. Then move to other stuff if needed.

The 303 works to get rid of splattered gas on the door in case any of you get stupid like me...
Left the driver's door open one windy day as I was filling the car up. When I pulled the nozzle, it splattered gas all over the open door. Did not wipe it for fear of damage to the interior. When it dried, it left spots that wouldn't come off. Wiped it really good with 303, and the spots disappeared. Back to normal. Awesome. I was about ready to order a new door card for almost $600...

A slightly damp microfiber towel is all that is required.
While I'm a big fan of 303 Aerospace Protectant for protecting materials directly exposed to sunlight, I don't think it does much of anything for this application since the leather is already coated.

However this was my experience with Zaino Z9 leather cleaner. The wife has a BMW X5 SUV with top of the line white leather interior. She occasionally wears new designer jeans and the bottom seat bolsters had a blue satin. After trying her normal cleaning products, she asked what I use. Very unusual since she is the cleaning expert!
Since I use other Zaino products I had purchased Z9, their leather cleaner (~$13.) I used it and the blue stain was gone! She thought I was great-not common!
In my business, I deal with permeation of moisture thorough plastic hose transporting argon. All plastics are permeable, meaning water vapor will migrate though the material. The thicker the slower it will migrate. A thin plastic layer can't be that great a barrier to at least moisture. Does a blue dye migrate through in the presence of humidity? Have no idea but Z9 worked for me!
I used it on my Kalahari 2014 interior but never had much of a dirt issue since wife seldom rides in the Corvette and after that experience has never with designer jeans! Mine are all prewashed!

Water best by far. Once you go down the road of using something else touted as leather cleaner you will notice that the residue attracts dirt and you will be in a never ending battle to keep it clean.
If you get something on the seats that water won't remove, which happened to me a few years ago, I used a citrus degreaser cleaner and then wiped it off with water. Worked great and no residue.
