Contractor left nails in my driveway!!!
Wt--f. I had new siding put on the house over the winter. Since then, I rolled the car into the garage. Days later, I noticed this! The nail head was stuck in the tire! I looked around the driveway and found more nails!!
There was snow a few days so I guess it could happen but I'm a little disappointed in this guy. Ugh.
I realize this is a frivolous thread...

That sucks, but please don't tell me you're surprised.

Last time I had my house re-roofed, the roofer had a magnetic bar that was about three ft. long that they dragged over the yard to pick up nails. I dragged it over the yard some more after they left the first day and still collected a number of nails. Hard to ever get them all, but at least made sure the driveway and street were clear.

You or your contractor need to invest in one of these...

A lot of people say VIN number even though the N in VIN stands for number. So it is like saying Vehicle Identification Number number. Number number sounds odd. And some people think they will use the symbol # for number STILL giving you VIN number. It is either VIN or VI number, not VIN number or VIN#

Not sure how long that tire warranty last for but for about $1000 you can get the GM Tire and Wheel warranty for 5 years. That's what I bought for my GS CE.
